Why Come on the Cape Cod Yoga Retreat?

There’s something about Cape Cod—the air, the light, the quiet—that invites you to slow down almost without trying.

This weekend is a return to something simpler. Unhurried moments. Time outdoors. Movement that brings you back into your body. Space to reflect, to rest, and to reconnect with what’s been waiting beneath the surface.

We’ll gather for yoga and meditation, share good, nourishing food, and settle into a rhythm that feels both grounding and expansive. There’s room here for connection, but just as much room to be on your own—to listen more closely, to notice what’s shifting, to let something soften.

It’s not about becoming someone new.

It’s about remembering who’s already there.

Relax, Restore, Reconnect with Your Self.

Between ocean air and open space, this is a place to slow down, let go, and come back to yourself—through yoga, rest, reflection, and time in nature.

Where the ease of a coastal escape meets the deeper work of self-discovery.

The Shore Haven Experience

We’re so excited to be partnering with the Shore Haven Inn in Falmouth, MA—a setting that feels made for a quintessential Cape Cod yoga retreat. Just a short walk from one of Falmouth’s beautiful ocean beaches, you’ll begin to unwind the moment you arrive, greeted by the soft crunch of the shell driveway and the steady calm of the sea.

The inn is also just minutes from the charm of Main Street’s shops and restaurants, as well as the scenic Falmouth Bike Path. Between our scheduled sessions, you’ll have space to slow down and reconnect—whether that’s at the beach, stretched out on the expansive lawn, resting on the open porch, or lounging by the pool.

Newly remodeled rooms with private baths and an easy, coastal elegance complete the experience, offering a stay that feels both grounding and quietly luxurious.

About Suellen and Lisa

Together, they create a space where you can truly exhale!

Suellen Stringer-Hye

Yoga has been a part of my life for more than 50 years—a steady thread of presence, curiosity, and quiet return. Cape Cod has been woven into my story for generations, and while I now live in Nashville with my husband, and cat Jeff, a part of my heart will always belong to this place where so many meaningful memories were formed.

My teaching is shaped by decades of experience across a range of modalities, allowing me to meet each person where they are. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach—only in creating space for each individual to explore, soften, and discover what feels true for them.

For me, yoga is not just a practice, but a holistic path of self-inquiry—an invitation to listen more closely, move more intuitively, and come home to yourself in a deeper way.

Lisa Sullivan

I have been practicing yoga for more than 30 years and spent over 20 years working as a marine biologist before transitioning into teaching and hosting retreats. I now bring these passions together to create experiences that invite students to slow down, reconnect, and restore.

This will be my seventh retreat and my third co-hosting with Suellen, with past retreats in India and Tuscany.

I live in Falmouth, Massachusetts with my husband, Dylan, and our rescue dog and two cats. I also serve on the Board of the Falmouth Dog Park.

I teach private and group classes at Calm Studio and online, with an inclusive approach that meets students where they are. I believe yoga should adapt to the individual, helping each person build strength, resilience, and ease.

I am especially passionate about supporting those in conservation and veterinary fields. As a registered yoga teacher and lifelong learner, I am currently pursuing an oncology yoga certification.
